From 1994, I have also held a position as a post-graduate tutor in Dental Practice with the University of Bristol. Responsibilities have included the organisatoin and facilitation of training courses throughout the region. In 1996 in recognition of this work I was awarded a Fellowship in Dental Surgery (without examination) by the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and subsequently joined the board of Examiners of the RCSE and I am an Examiner for membership in respect of Restorative Dentistry.

I am a member of the Council of the Association of Consultants and Specialists in Restorative Dentistry (ACSRD) and a previous member of the Council of the British Society of Periodental (BSP) and previous Secretary of two regional NHS Committies.

My continuing professional interest is in the rehabilitation of the dental occlusion from both aesthetic and functional perspective, utilising fixed and removable prosthodontics which may include the use of dental implants. I have been supporting dentists in this region for many years as a consultant in both Health Trust and private capacity.
